Paratrechina longicornis, commonly known as the longhorn crazy ant, is a species of ant known for its erratic movement and long antennae. They have very long antennae relative to their body size, which helps distinguish them from other ant species. They are called "crazy ants" because of their quick and irregular movements when foraging. They don't follow a straight path like other ants. Paratrechina longicornis is an omnivorous ant, feeding on a variety of foods, including sweets, proteins, and grease. They are opportunistic scavengers and predators.
