Frieseomelitta nigra
-
Ants, Bees, Wasps, and Sawflies (Order Hymenoptera)

-
Ants, Bees, and Stinging Wasps (Infraorder Aculeata)

Bees and Apoid Wasps (Superfamily Apoidea)
Known for their slender body shape and lack of a stinger, these bees play an important role in pollination. Like other stingless bees, they do not have a stinger. Instead, they use biting as a defense mechanism to protect their nests. Colonies can survive for several years, and new queens may be produced through swarming, allowing the establishment of new colonies.
