The Brown Booby is a large seabird of the booby family, Sulidae.The average length of the Brown Booby is 65–75 cm with a wingspan of 130–150 cm. Birds weigh from 900–1500 g. At sea, the Brown Booby flies and feeds individually or in flocks The species breeds colonially and roosts communally with other Brown Boobies or other species. Flocks plunge-dive to take small fish, especially when these are driven near the surface by other predators. They only nest on the ground, and roost on solid objects rather than the water surface.
