Apricot Sulphur
Phoebis argante
The Phoebis argante (Apricot Sulphur) is an exotic butterfly species that is native to Central and South America. It is usually found in warm, humid habitats such as tropical rainforests, and its range stretches from Mexico to Brazil. Its diet consists of flower nectar, and it is known to be a strong flier. In terms of behavior, it is attracted to bright colors and can often be seen in gardens, where it is particularly active in the morning and late afternoon. It has a bright yellow and orange coloration, and the wingspan is approximately 1.5-2 inches.
