The Panthiades bitias (Bitias Hairstreak) is a species of butterfly found in the tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America. This species typically inhabits open areas with plenty of sunlight, including grasslands, savannas, and forests. It has a varied diet, feeding on both nectar from flowers as well as sap from trees. It is a fast-moving butterfly, often seen flitting from flower to flower.
