The Anthopleura dowii is a species of sea anemone belonging to the family Actiniidae. Tentacles: Numerous, arranged in concentric circles around the oral disc, used for capturing prey. Found in intertidal and shallow subtidal zones, often attached to rocks, coral reefs, or hard substrates.
