Pale Anemone
Exaiptasia diaphana
The Pale Anemone (Exaiptasia diaphana) is a species of sea anemone belonging to the family Aiptasiidae. It is known for its high adaptability, rapid reproduction, and symbiotic relationship with algae. Contains stinging cells (nematocysts) for capturing prey and defense. Retracts when disturbed. Found in shallow coastal waters, including coral reefs, seagrass beds, rocky substrates, and artificial structures.
