Zoantharian - Terrazoanthus
Terrazoanthus
The Terrazoanthus is a genus of zoantharians, a type of marine colonial organism related to corals and sea anemones. Zoantharians belong to the order Zoantharia and are known for their symbiotic relationships and resemblance to soft corals. Polyps have a tubular body with a crown of tentacles surrounding the mouth. The tentacles are often short and arranged in a radial pattern which capture plankton and organic particles from the water using its tentacles.
