Ipomoea meyeri, also known as Meyer’s morning glory has a sprawling habit and can reach up to 3 meters in height. Meyer’s morning glory has heart-shaped leaves and produces white and purple flowers. It is found growing in a variety of habitats, including forests, grasslands, and disturbed areas. The species has a wide natural range, stretching from Mexico to Peru. It is sometimes grown as an ornamental plant due to its attractive flowers, and can also be used as a source of food.
