Mecistogaster ornata, the lemon-tipped helicopter, is a species of narrow-winged damselfly in the family Coenagrionidae. Found from Mexico south to northwestern Argentina. Adults fly in understory of rainforest where they apparently glean spiders and wrapped spider-preys from webs.
