Brassy Drummer
Kyphosus vaigiensis
"Kyphosus vaigiensis", the Brassy Drummer, is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a sea chub from the family Kyphosidae. Circumtropical Distribution: from the eastern Pacific across the Pacific Ocean to the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea and the eastern and western Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Found in exposed areas around rocky reefs. Adults are carnivorous during summer and autumn but feed on algae during winter.
