Largemouth Blenny

Labrisomus xanti

The Largemouth Blenny (Labrisomus xanti) is a species of combtooth blenny found in the eastern Pacific Ocean, particularly along the coasts of Baja California, the Gulf of California, and parts of mainland Mexico. Known for its large mouth in comparison to its body size. Coloration is often brown to greenish, with mottled patterns that help it blend into rocky or reef habitats. Inhabits rocky reefs, tide pools, and shallow coastal waters. It is carnivorous, feeding on small fish, crustaceans, and other invertebrates.
