The Cortez Angelfish (Pomacanthus zonipectus) is a strikingly beautiful marine fish found in the tropical and subtropical waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean. Adults can grow up to 38 cm (15 inches) in length, making them one of the larger angelfish species. Cortez Angelfish are omnivorous, feeding on a mix of sponges, algae, tunicates, and small invertebrates. They are generally solitary but can occasionally be seen in pairs.
