The Cinnabar Bracket Fungi is a polypore species of fungus that can be found in both temperate and tropical forests. It typically grows on the trunk or branches of trees, and is widely distributed throughout the world. Cinnabar Bracket Fungi has a distinctive, bright red surface . Its fruiting body is fan-shaped and grows up to 20 cm wide. It has a leathery texture and a sweet, spicy smell. Its fleshy interior is edible and is often used in traditional medicines and as a food source.
