Prince Cone
Conus princeps
The Prince Cone (Conus princeps) is a species of predatory marine snail in the family Conidae, commonly known as cone snails. Like other members of its genus, it is known for its beautiful shell and venomous sting, which it uses to hunt prey. Found in sandy or rocky substrates in shallow marine waters, often associated with coral reefs. Carnivorous, preying primarily on marine worms and smaller mollusks. It uses a specialized, harpoon-like radula to deliver venom and immobilize prey.
