Moths of Zihuatanejo
ORDER LEPIDOPTERA
Cutworm Moths
Genus Tripudia
Genus Tripudia a member of Cutworm Moths and Allies Family Noctuidae. These moths exhibit distinctive color patterns, often in shades of brown, gray, or tan, which help with camouflage in their natural environments. As with many other noctuids, Tripudia moths tend to rest with their wings folded tightly against their body, often in a roof-like position, which helps them blend into their surroundings.
